Espetacular trilha pela serra da Mantiqueira, pedal que foi organizado pela Aticiclo de Atibaia-SP. Bikers de toda a região estavam presentes. Partimos da padaria Loanda como de costume, seguidos de uma ótima estrutura de apoio: pickup com água e frutas, microônibus + caminhão. O primeiro ponto de parada foi o bairro de Canedos e de lá seguimos para Piracaia. Visitamos o cruzeiro da cidade e fizemos uma pausa para descançar. Depois de lá pedalamos por um bom tempo margeando a represa de Piracaia, que faz parte do sistema Cantareira e abastece a cidade de São Paulo. Visual fantástico em meio a muito verde e morros. Até cachoeira tinha no caminho. Fizemos mais uma parada em um barzinho que o pessoal chama de "Copo Sujo", para então enfrentar duas subidas muito fortes, uma com 2 km e outra com 3km. Chegamos no ponto mais alto do percurso, em torno de 1000 metros e aproveitei para tirar fotos do belo visual do vale. Uma grande descida para compensar e voltamos aos 860 metros de altitude, para então chegar ao asfalto e mais adiante avistar a cachoeira dos Pretos. Chegando lá, um merecido churrasco e muita descontração.
A cachoeira dos Pretos fica a 18 km do centro de Joanópolis-SP, capital do Lobisomem segundo o folclore local. Tem forte volume de água, mais de 150 metros de queda e forma a nascente do rio Jaguari, afluente do rio Piracicaba. O local é muito frequentado por turistas e possui boa infraestrutura para camping, restaurantes e bares. Uma das diversões no local é alugar uma bóia e descer as corredeiras do rio. Outra é entrar dentro de um cubículo de pedra e esperar um grande balde se encher com as águas lá de cima da cachoeira. Quando cheio ele se vira e toma-se um verdadeiro banho de água fria, muito gelada. Para lavar a alma mesmo hehe.
Spectacular trail through the mountains of Mantiqueira, pedal which was organized by Aticiclo Atibaia-SP. Bikers from across the region were present. We start from Loanhead bakery as usual, followed by a great support structure: pickup with water and fruit, minibus + truck. The first stop was the Canedos neighborhood and from there we went to Piracaia. We visited the cruise the city and we took a break to rest. After there we ride for a while skirting the Piracaia Dam, which is part of the Cantareira system and supplies the city of São Paulo. fantastic look in the midst of greenery and hills. Until waterfall was on the way. We made another stop at a bar that staff calls "Dirty Glass", to then face two very strong increases, one with 2 km and one with 3km.
