Verso AO - Lunghezza 34 Km – Dislivello 1200 - Tempo Standard ore 4:30 min

NOTA: in caso di pioggia il sentiero degli alpini è sconsigliabile per cui si può ripiegare sul percorso n° 176 che ha in comune con questo la salita principale fino a malga Pradut (oltre al passaggio per C.ra Casavento e possibile digressione alle orme).
DESCRIZIONE:
Dal parcheggio (con fontana) in centro paese si parte in dir. Ovest verso l’alta Valcellina;
poco oltre il paese si scende al fondovalle, ed attraversato un ponte sul T. Cellina, si inizia la lunga salita lungo i pendii nord del monte Ressetum. Le prime rampe sono facilitate da una recente cementificazione, poi dal fondo buono fino a metà salita. Dal tornante di q. 1200 iniziano le rampe dure (per fondo e pendenza) fino allo scollinamento di quota 1420. Dopo un gradita sosta panoramica si riprende in discesa ma, in breve, si riprende a salire con due impegnativi tornanti; si lascia sulla dx la C.ra Ressetum (non visibile dalla forestale) poi le fatiche sono finite; con tratto altalenante si arriva presto alla M.ga Pradut, in fase di ristrutturazione nell’estate 2011 (speriamo di poterne fruire nell’estate 2012).
Da qui si gode una grandiosa visione sui gruppi montuosi del Duranno (q. 2650 - dir. ovest-nord-ovest) e del Pramaggiore (q.2480 – dir. nord) e sulla sottostante Valcellina. La discesa inizia ripida e dissestata ma dopo il bivio per f.lla Clautana si riprende a salire fino alla sella a sud del Col De Tonon q.1570. Fine delle fatiche; si scende per una strada a tornanti un po’ sconnessa, fino alla forcella Clautana (q. 1430); da qui inizia uno spettacolare sentiero (strada degli Alpini) con 13 stretti tornanti. La pendenza non è eccessiva ma l’esposizione in alcuni tratti richiede la massima attenzione ed una “salutare camminata” per i meno abili. Nella parte finale il sentiero attraversa un’ampia radura in cui ha sede la C.ra Casavento dove in stagione si possono apprezzare semplici ma genuini piatti di malga.
Nei dintorni si può esplorare il sito dell’orma del dinosauro (digressione indicata in traccia) magari avendo letto uno tabelloni didattici che illustrano l’evoluzione geologica del territori.
Il rientro, anziché per la strada principale (in buona parte asfaltata) resta sul versante nord attraversando il suggestivo bosco di Pian de Croda e confluendo sulla principale in prossimità di stalla Fantesine da dove resta un veloce e facile rientro.
Si può arrivare a CLAUT da Longarone, svoltando a dx per Erto, Vajont, Cimolais; lasciando a sx il centro paese, si prosegue per altri 4 Km fino al bivio di Pinedo dove si svolta a sx e, dopo 4 km si arriva a Claut.
L’altra accesso è dalla pianura pordenonese: seguendo ind. x Montereale-Valcellina, Barcis; da qui, risalendo la Valcellina per circa 14 Km si arriva al bivio in loc. Pinedo da cui, svoltando a dx, dopo 4 Km, si raggiunge Claut

NOTE: In case of rain, the path of the mountain is inadvisable to which you can fall back on the path No. 176 that has this in common with the main climb up to the alp Pradut (over the transition to C.ra Casavento and possible diversion to the tracks).
DESCRIPTION:
From the parking lot (with fountain) in the town center you can go in dir. West to the high Valcellina;
little over the country descend into the valley and crossed a bridge over T. Cellina, you begin the long climb up the northern slopes of Mount Ressetum. The first ramps are facilitated by a recent overbuilding, then from the bottom good until mid-climb. From the bend of q. 1200 start ramps hard (for the bottom and slope) until the brow of quota 1420 After a pleasant panoramic stop shooting downhill, but in short, it starts to climb with two challenging bends; leaving on the right the C.ra Ressetum (not visible from the forest) then the labors are over; with sudden ups and downs you arrive early to M.ga Pradut, under renovation in the summer of 2011 (we hope to be able to enjoy in the summer of 2012).
From here you can enjoy a magnificent view of the mountain ranges of Duranno (q. 2650 - dir. west-north-west) and the Pramaggiore (q.2480 - dir. north) and the underlying Valcellina. The descent starts steep and rough but after the junction to Forcella Clautana starts to climb up to the saddle south of the Col De Tonon q.1570. End of the labors; you go down a winding road a bit 'bumpy until the fork Clautana (q. 1430); From here begins a spectacular trail (road degli Alpini) with 13 hairpin bends. The slope is not excessive but the exposure in some places requires maximum attention and a "healthy walk" for the less able. In the final part of the trail crosses a large clearing in which the C.ra Casavento where in season you can enjoy simple but wholesome alpine dishes.
Nearby you can explore the site dell'orma Dinosaur (digression indicated trace) perhaps having read one educational boards that illustrate the geological evolution of the territories.
The return instead to the main road (mostly paved) remains on the north side through the small forest of Pian de Croda and converged on main in the vicinity of the stable where Fantesine remains a fast and easy return.
You can get to CLAUT from Blyth, turning right to Erto, Vajont, Cimolais; left, leaving the center of the village, continue for another 4 km to the junction of Pinedo where you turn left and after 4 km you will reach Claut.
The other access is from the Pordenone area: following ind. x-Montereale Valcellina, Barcis; from here, going up the Valcellina for about 14 Km until you reach the junction in loc. Pinedo which, turning right, after 4 km, you will reach Claut
