Die Tour verläuft hauptsächlich auf Forst- bzw. Feldwegen. Der Start der Runde ist an der Mittelpunkt Schule in Angersbach. Man durchquert das Feld am Waldrand entlang nach Landenhausen. Dort geht es hinauf zur Alten Eiche, mit Blick auf das im Tal gelegene Försterhaus im Erlich. Nach kurzer Zeit hält man sich links, um die Weidmann Straße steil hinauf zu fahren. Nach mehreren kurzen Richtungsänderungen geht es auf der anderen Seite des Höhenzuges hinab zum Kreppelstein. Anschließend hält man sich in Richtung Stockhausen und fährt rechts am Landenhäuser Stein vorbei. Man passiert einen "Riedesel Gedenkstein", um anschließend rechts eine etwas längere Strecke talwärts zu fahren. Dann hält man sich links, es geht hinauf zur K 87 in Richtung Fuchsbauten bzw. Heiliges Kreuz. Nach Erreichen der Kreisstraße fährt man ca. 50m rechts auf dieser, um anschließend links hinauf zur Bärenmauer bzw. zum Hohmichelstein zu fahren. Weiter geht es in Richtung Rixfeld zu den dortigen Windkrafträdern. Dabei überquert man die K 86. Anschließend führt die Strecke in Richtung Schloss Eisenbach (hier befindet sich eine Gaststätte zum eventuellen Auftanken), vorbei am dortigen Friedhof, um sich dann in Richtung Auhof (Frischborn) zu orientieren. Am Auhof biegt man links ab in Richtung der Schalksbach Teiche. Vor dem Erreichen dieser überquert man die L 3139. Das Gebiet der Schalksbach Teiche ist Naturschutzgebiet! Dann führt die Strecke bergauf in Richtung Eichenrod. Vor dem Erreichen der dortigen Schutzhütte biegt man rechts in Richtung Hopfmannsfeld ab. Von Hopfmannsfeld aus hält man sich auf dem Allmenröder Weg in Richtung Dirlammen. Oben geht es dann in Richtung Frischborn, man lässt den Ziegen Berg linker Hand liegen und überquert die K 113. In Frischborn fährt man am dortigen Sportplatz vorbei in Richtung des alten Blitzenröder Bahnhofs. Vorher passiert man den dort gelegenen Friedwald. Nach einem kurzen Stück Vulkanradweg geht es durch den Stadtwald in Lauterbach vorbei am Eichhof Krankenhaus, die Treppenstufen hinab, um dann am Schwimmbad vorbei in Richtung der Großsporthalle an der Wascherde zu fahren. Das nächste Ziel ist der Hainigturm. Anschließend geht es hinab in Richtung Angersbach, zum ursprünglichen Ausgangspunkt der Tour. Wer möchte kann anschließend noch in der Gaststätte Bej Jerje einkehren.
