Pokud se chcete podívat na Helfštýn a pritom se chcete projet na horském kole (asi by to šlo i na trekovém kole) tak Vám snad príjde vhod tato první cást cest, kterými se lze z Hranic dostat lesy až na místo. Z Hranic najedete po pár kilometrech do lesa a už z nej nevyjedete. Ten kdo na to nemá se muže držet turistických znacek a bez problému dojede k hradu. Ten kdo na to má se musí dívat doleva a nebo doprava hlavních trí cest (dolní - prostrední a horní Gabrielka). Dolní jede kolem reky Becvy a je soucástí cyklostesky, která Vás dovede od Prerova a neno Valaškého Mezirící do Hranic. Prostrední je vrstevnicová lesní cesta na kterou se dostanete v Hranicích za sokolovnou a nebo ve vesnici pod Helfštýnem. Horní Gabrielka vede v podstate po hrebeni. Ale zpet k trase jak ji vidíte na mape. Po nájezdu do terénu za krytým bazénem a strelnicí (dobrá hospoda a BMX trat) pojedete do kopce a zas do kopce. Dostanete se ke starému nepoužívanému lomu a odtud mužete jet dolu po prosrední Gabrielce a nebo jak jsem jel já nahoru kopcem. Po cca. 400m se však zase dáte doprava a prudce dolu kopcem po trati singeltrack trati. Není to dlouhé, ale je to pekné. (díky tem co to v tech lesích budují a je tam toho více jen znát kde). Takže ten kdo chce muže jet z lomu nahoru a pak zase dolu a nebo proste hned dolu a po leve ruce uvidí po cca 200-300 metrech odkud by prijel kdyba jel nahoru. Pak celkem dlouho po hlavní ceste. Kdo chce muže pokracovat až do vesnice pod hradem (Týn) ,a le kdo pojede mou trasu tak se dá nahoru kopcem. Dojede k hájence u Huberta a tam pak doprava a po asfaltce a staré lesní hradní ceste dojede pod parkovište Helfštýnské. Já na hrad nejel, ale vy samozrejme mužete. Od Helfštýna zase zpet smer Hranice. Po cca. 2km se dostanete zpet na cestu kde už jste byli a pojedete opet kolem Huberta. Pak dokopce a na nejvyšší bod této cesty (Maliník). Po sjezdu se dáte doprava a užijete si kousek singeltracku. Pokud je mokro tak to klouže a je tam bahno. Je to smer Valšovická jezírka. Odtud smer Teplice nad Becvou a to opet po turistické znacce. Projedet údolím Krkavce a pres potucek a trochu bahna jste po turistické znacce pod obcí Zbrašov. U drevené skautské chaty jedete opet dokopce a lesem po trati Šela maratonu smer restaurace na Strelnici. Tuto trat (tedy její záverecnou cást od Valšovických jezírek bych nejel po dlouhých deštích neb je tam vetšinou hodne bahna. Jinak vše bez problému. Hospudky jsou pod hradem ci na hrade a pak na Strelnici v Hranicích. Vodou radeji sebou neb pramen je jen na Rybárích u Becvy a tam se Vám sjíždet nebude chtít.
