Unser Weg führt uns von Namborn aus vorbei am Berghof und am "Schwarzen Kreuz" links durch den Wald Richtung Bliesen (kurzes Stück der MTB 3 folgen) wo wir die Verbindungsstraße Oberthal - Bliesen queren und am Gewerbegebiet Wallfeld entlang durch den Wald in Richtung Alsweiler fahren. In der Dorfmitte von Alsweiler an der Kirche links durch's Wohngebiet in Richtung Marpingen und dort den langen Anstieg hoch in Richtung Segelflugplatz. Dort links unterhalb vorbei bis zur Verbindungsstraße Tholey - Dirmingen, der wir nach links ein kurzes Stück folgen ehe ein Feldweg rechts ab uns über eine schnelle Abfahrt nach Sotzweiler führt. Hier orientieren wir uns in Richtung Sporthalle und landen kurz darauf am "Wortsegel". Bei schönem Wetter ein wunderschöner, ruhiger Platz zum Rasten mit Blick hoch auf den Schaumberg. Weiter gehts nach Bergweiler wo wir an der Sägemühle auf den Waldweg Richtung Schaumberg abbiegen und einen zweiten, langen Aufstieg bis zur Nähe des Parkplatzes "Herzweg" am Schaumberg bewältigen. Von da geht's runter nach Theley, weiter nach Tholey, vorbei an der Ausgrabungsstätte und danach durch den Varuswald hinunter in Richtung Bliesen wo wir am alten Bahnhof ein kurzes Stück über die alte "Bahntrasse" bis zur Kompostierungsanlage Oberthal fahren. Von dort geht's über die letzten beiden Steigungen zurück zum Ausgangspunkt. Neben MTB auch problemlos mit Cross-/Trekkingbike zu fahren.

From there you go down to Theley, further Tholey, past the excavation site and then through the woods down in varus direction Bliesen where we quot a short piece about the old & the old station, railway line & quot; go to the composting plant Oberthal. From there, it's over the last two climbs back to the starting point. Besides MTB also no problem to drive with Cross / Trekking Bike.
