Die Tour beginnt und endet am Hotel "Sunrise Costa Calma Palace" in der Calle Jahn Reisen in Costa Calma. Die Bikes haben wir bei Volcano-Bike gemietet (www.volcano-bike.com/), die Firma bietet auch geführte Touren an, auf denen wir viel Spaß hatten. Ein Wort noch vorab zu Kondition und Technik: Der Charakter der Landschaft im Süden Fuerteventuras ist der einer Halbwüste, dazu kommen noch Sanddünen. Je nach Wind und Wetter muss man deshalb mit Schiebestrecken und ziemlich technischen Bedingungen rechnen. Die geschilderten Verhältnisse und Strecken können sich je nach Bautätigkeit und Witterung ändern. Vom Hotel aus folgt man nach rechs der Calle Jahn Reisen bis zum Kreisverkehr. Hier biegt man nach rechs ab und fährt nach 100m links hoch über einen Rücken weiter Richtung Hotel Rio Calma. Dort folgt man der Straße nach links Richtung FV-2. Kurz vor dieser (angelegter Kreisverkehr) biegt man nach rechts auf die Piste, die auf ein angelegtes Straßenplanum (Autobahn?) führt. Diesem entlang geht es parallel zur FV-2 wieter auf eine Piste bis zum Kreisverkehr, von dem aus die FV-605 nach La Pared führt. Auf der FV-605 gelangt man bis zum Ortsschild von La Pared. Kurz hinter diesem biegt man nach rechts auf die Piste ein und nutzt an der Abzweigung die rechte, untere Piste weiter (Hinweisschild auf Gehöft und Queso de Cabra = Ziegenkäse). Die Piste steigt relativ gemütlich an, so dass man die Landschaft genießen kann. Am Stadion von Las Hermosas vorbei folgt man der Piste weiter, bis man auf ein Teersträßchen kommt. Dort wendet man sich nach rechts aufwärts und fährt auch nach den Ende der Teerstrecke weiter aufwärts bis auf ein Hochplateau (Achtung: Hunde an Laufleinen). Von dort aus hat man bei klarem Wetter eine erstklassige Aussicht auf die Westküste der Halbinsel Jandia. Nun fährt man den selben Weg ab und über das geteerte Sträßchen auf die FV-617. Dieser folgt man abwärts zur FV-605 und weiter in Richtung La Pared. Etwa auf Höhe des "Nachtclub La Pared" - etwa 250m hinter dem Tierheim - lohnt es sich, einige Meter auf die Piste hineinzufahren, die rechs von der FV-605 abzweigt, um erneut eine tolle Aussicht auf die Halbinsel Jandia zu genießen. Schließlich biegt man von der FV-605 nach La Pared ab, folgt von dort der Piste parallel zur Telefonleitung auf die Höhe und fährt die Piste vorbei an den Briefkästen von Pueblo del Mar zunächst parallel zum Höhenrücken des Istmo la Pared und dann auf die Piste nach Costa Calma. Wenn man dort die Teerstraße erreicht geht es abwärts zur FV-2 und über den doppelten Kreisverkehr (Abzweig mit Schild "Policia local") wieder in die Calle Jahn Reisen.
