Na Kofce se lahko povzpneš po vec poteh. Tale je med vsemi najlažja in najbolj položna. Iz Tžica se popelješ v Dolžanovo sotesko in naprej proti Jelendolu, kjer je prvi odcep levo proti planini Kofce. Ta je strm ko pes (baje). Ti nadaljujejš naprej po dolini mimo Bornove grašcinice na levi, po makadamu do konca doline. Tu razcep desno pelje nekam pod Storžic, ti pa se usmeriš levo. Pocasi se zadeva zacne vzpenjati. Tam nekje na desetem kilometru postane kakšen razdelek okrog 16-tice. Vecjih orientacijskih težav ne bi smelo biti ... itak pa najbolj pomaga gpx datoteka ... so po terenu na ustreznih mestih oznake, uporabna in prava je tudi usmeritev "planina Šija". V planinski del vstopiš pri prvi lesi. Tam se ti prvic odpre cudovit pogled na pogorje Košute. Po prvi lesi sledi še krajši (cca 500 m) vzpon, potem pa med prijazno gledajocimi kravami do planine Šija. Tu je prehod nekoliko skrit: ob prvi zgornji koci levo navzdol, cez dvorišce na desni strani spodnje prve koce, mimo druge koce, ki je levo od tebe naprej. Tu se že vidi pot. Od tu do planine Kofce pot ni vec kolovozna ampak pešpot, ves cas lepo prevozna.. Po približno desetih minutah pripelješ pod koco na planini Kofce. Vzponcek do nje je ali grob ali "tepihast", odvisno od tega, ce greš po "cesti" ali pa po trevniku. V obeh primerih je strmo. Pri koci: odlicni štruklji z borovnicami ali gozdnimi sadeži. Spust po kolovozu naravnost dol. Na ovinku pelje leva pot proti Jelendolu, naša pa desno proti Matizovcu. Dvakrat sem jo odpeljal in obakrat je bila precej blatna, vse do Matizovca, kjer se zacne normalen makadam, kmalu pa še asfalt s krasnim spustom do Podljubelja in naprej do Tržica. Vse skupaj zelooo lepooo.
