Ziemlich kraftraubender Marathon rund um St.Ingbert-Saar. Die Wege sind sehr sandig und die Höhenunterschiede relativ gering. Um auf die 1700 Hm zu kommen geht es ununterbrochen auf und ab. Es gibt nur wenige Flachpassagen zum Erholen. Der Anteil an Singeltrails ist recht hoch wobei diese technisch nicht allzu anspruchsvoll sind. Landschaftlich gehört der Marathon sicher nicht zu den schönsten, aber wer es konditionell mal "krachen" lassen will wird hier seinen Spaß haben.

Quite energy-sapping marathon around St.Ingbert-Saar. The roads are very sandy and the height difference is relatively small. To get to the 1700 Hm it goes up and down continuously. There are very few flat sections to rest. The proportion of single trails is quite high and these are technically not too demanding. Scenic Marathon certainly not among the most beautiful, but who wants to conditionally times it can "rip" will have fun here.
