Aus der Ortsmitte Hofheim-Langenhain in Richtung Bahai-Tempel, dort in den Wald und dem Wildschwein-Wanderweg folgendend bis zu Abzweigung nach Eppstein. In Eppstein kurz links auf der Landstrasse nach Bremthal, nach ca. 75m rechts hoch über Hof Häusel. Auf dem Höhenrücken Richtung Idstein, bis die nächste Landstrasse erscheint. Dort rechts runter nach Ehlhalten und in Ehlhalten links auf der Strasse nach Esch. DKurz hinter der Abzweigung nach Schlossborn in den rechts in Wald und entlang des Baches nach Schlossborn. Durch den Ort und am alten Jagdhaus rechts auf den Wanderweg, hier nun langer aber gleichmäßiger Anstieg zum höchsten Punkt der Tour. (Zeit und Kondition vorausgesetzt, kann man ab hier noch den Abstecher auf den Feldberggipfel einlegen). Beginn der langen und schönen Abfahrt Richtung Ruppertshain, an der "Hustenburg", der ehem. Lungenheilanstalt vorbei durch die Wiesen nach Fischbach. Von dort den alten Wanderweg nach Eppstein und zurück nach Langenhain. Insbesondere auf dem Höhenrücken ab Hof Häusel, in Schlossborn und während der gesamten Abfahrt tolle Ausblicke auf die Taunuslandschaft und die Mainebene. Wer sich den quälenden Aufstieg zum Schluss nach Langenhain sparen möchte verlegt den Start- und Zielpunkt z.B. an den Bahnhof in Eppstein. Das spart gut über 200 Höhenmeter zum Schluss der Tour.
