Die relativ anspruchsvolle Runde um die Kanisfluh ist einer der Klassiker im Bregenzerwald. Streckenbeschreibung: Von Mellau fahren wir auf dem Radweg, entlang der Bregenzerach über Hirschau und Schnepfau nach Au. Nach der Argenbachbrücke, erwartet uns der erste Anstieg. Wir biken nun ca. 4 km entlang der Landstraße Richtung Damüls bis zum Berggut Argenfall (1075m). Dort biegen wir rechts auf den Güterweg ab, ein weiterer, langer Anstieg erwartet uns. Unser erstes Ziel ist das Alpengasthaus Edelweiß (1440 m), wo wir mit einem herrlichen Ausblick auf die umliegende Bergwelt belohnt werden. Danach steigt unsere Tour weiter Richtung Wurzachalpe (1622 m) ehe eine kurze Abfahrt zur Kanisalpe (1463 m) folgt. Nach der Kanisalpe folgen wir dem schön ausgebauten Wanderweg bis zur Roßstelle (1390m), der Bergstation der Mellauer Bergbahn. Hier sind viele Wanderer unterwegs, da heißt es Rücksicht nehmen. Nach einem weiteren Anstieg erreichen wir die Wildguntenalpe (1610m). In der Wildguntenalpe kann man, abseits vom Trubel, schön einkehren um die Energiespeicher wieder aufzufüllen. Nach der Rast fahren wir auf einem Güterweg abwärts bis zur Möslealpe (1256m). Dort halten wir uns links und biken nun in leichtem Auf und Ab zur idyllisch gelegenen Hauseralpe (1252m) die mit einer schönen Kapelle aufwartet. Anschließend biken wir abwärts zum Mellenbach, den wir über die neue Brücke überqueren. Dem letzten kurzen steilen Anstieg zur Lindachalpe (1140m) folgt dann die lange Schlußabfahrt entlang des Mellenbaches zurück nach Mellau. Höhepunkte: Wunderschöne Ausblicke auf den Talkessel von Schoppernau, auf das Kanisfluhmassiv und die umliegenden Berge. Schöne Einkehrmöglichkeiten entlang der Strecke. Route: Mellau - dem Radweg entlang nach Au - Au - Straße Richtung Damüls - Argenfall - Alpengasthof Edelweiß - Wurzachalpe - Kanisalpe - Roßstelle - Wildguntenalpe - Möslealpe - Bleichtenalpe - Hauseralpe - Lindachalpe - Mellental - Mellau. Einkehrmöhlichkeiten: Alpengasthaus Edelweis, Wurzachalpe, Kanisalpe, Roßstelle, Wildguntenalpe, Vordersutisalpe, Alpe Buchen. Hinweis: Die Tour kann auch in der Gegenrichtung gefahren werden.
The relatively challenging round to the Kanisfluh is one of the classics in the Bregenz Forest. Route description: From Mellau we ride on the bike path along the Bregenzerach about Hirschau and Schnepfau to Au. After Argenbach bridge, the first increase to expect.
