Von Birkfeld nach Piregg und dann auf Schotterstraße durch die Elmleiten Richtung Fischbach. Abzweigen auf die Herrnalm (nur Forsthaus).Von dort auf Waldweg über den Knappensattel zum Strassegg. Einkehrmöglichkeit beim Strasseggwirt. Von dort über Haberlstall Richtung Plankogel und durch die Haslau zurück nach Birkfeld.

From Birkfeld after Piregg and then on gravel road through the Elmleiten direction Fischbach. Turn off on the Herrnalm (only forest house) .From there on forest road over the saddle for nearly Strassegg. Refreshments at Strasseggwirt. From there on Haberl stable direction Plankogel and by the Haslau back to Birkfeld.
