Die Tour verläuft meist auf Wirtschats-, Forst- , Wald- und Schotterwegen auch kurze Abschnitte auf Asphalt sind zurückzulegen und stellt keine größeren fahrtechnischen Schwierigkeiten dar. Die Route verläuft zum Teil auf sogenannten Altstraßen -aus der Zeit der Römer und Karl des Großen- durch den Taunus. Die Spuren dieser Altstraßen reichen bis in keltische Zeit zurück wie die zahlreichen Hügelgruppen entlang der Altstraßen belegen. Die Einstufung des Faktors "Landschaft" beruht auf der waldreichen und hügeligen Mittelgebirgslandschaft die immer wieder schöne Ausblicke ins Umland ermöglicht.
