Die ersten Höhenmeter dieser leichten Tour nahmen wir auf sehr gemütliche und komfortable Weise in Angriff: Mit der Seiser Alm Seilbahn. An der Talstation in St. Ulrich ist folglich auch der Startpunkt dieser reich an landschaftlichen Highlights gespickten Tour. Nach 780 Höhenmeter erreichen wir die Bergstation und werden zur Linken von der Langkofel-Gruppe in seinen Bann gezogen. Bis auf fast 3000 Meter erheben sich die Berge in den Himmel. Gemütlich geht es über das Hochplateau ins touristisch etwas überlaufende Compatsch, aber mit schönen Blick auf den Schlern. Wir ziehen die Stille dem Trubel vor und machen uns auf den Weg zur herrlich gelegenen Rauchhütte. Frisch gestärkt wartet beim Downhill im Jender Tal entlang des Saltria-Baches nur noch eine etwas steilere Steigung auf uns. Zügig nähern wir uns danach St. Christina und im weiteren Verlauf unserem Startpunkt in St. Ulrich.

The first altitude this light tour we took a very cozy and comfortable way to attack: The Seiser Alm cable car. At the base station in St. Ulrich consequently is also the starting point of this richly studded on scenic highlights tour. After 780 meters of altitude, we reach the mountain station and be drawn to the left of the Sasso Lungo group in its spell. Up to almost 3000 meters, the mountains in the sky rise. Enjoy a ride on the high plateau to the touristy bit overflowing Compaccio, but with beautiful views of the schlern. We prefer the calm before the hustle and make our way to the beautiful town smoke shack. Invigorated waiting downhill in Jender valley along the creek Saltria only a slightly steeper slope on us. We quickly approaching after St. Christina, and throughout our starting point in St. Ulrich.
