Vom Ermstal bei Neuhausen geht es erstmal locker zum unterem Pumpspeichersee hoch. Dann folgt auf Waldwegen ein ca 5 km langer Anstieg bis zur Albkante vorbei am oberen Pumpspeicherbecken. Danach gehts ruhiger an der Albkante weiter mit sehr schönen Ausblicken . In der Gastwirtschaft des Hofhut St.Johann gibt's lecker Essen. Nachdem die Burgruine Hohen Urach von oben zu bewundern war, gehts auch schon runter zur selbigen. Der Waldweg ist sehr steil und geschottert, also Vorsicht in den Serpentinien. Ein Abstecher zur Burg lohnt sich, wenn man noch nicht dort war. Unten in Bad Urach angekommen gehts auf dem Radweg nach Metzingen durch Obstbaumwiesen zurück zum Ausgangspunkt. P.S. Die Bilder sind vom Mai weil da das Wetter deutlich besser war.

From Ermstal in Neuhausen at first you loose up to the lower Pumpspeichersee. Then follows forest tracks a ca 5 km long climb up to the Albkante past the upper pump storage reservoir. Then quietly go to the Albkante further with very nice views. In the restaurant of the Hofhut St Johann is delicious food. After the ruins Hohenurach was to admire from above, and go on down & nbsp; the same. The forest road is very steep and gravel, so be careful in the Serpentinien. A visit to the castle is worth it if you were not there. Down in Bad Urach arrived & nbsp; go on the bike path & nbsp; to Metzingen & nbsp; by orchards back to the starting point. & Nbsp; P.S.
