Die Aufzeichnung erfolgte mit Garmin 60CSx und die Nachbearbeitung mit Touratech QV4. Diese Tour, ist wegen der gut zu befahrenen Wege, auch für eine Wintertour geeignet und führt zu 70% durch schönes sowie geschütztes Waldgebiet. Vom Parkplatz unter der A44 geht es in südlicher Richtung mit dem Ziel Aaper Wald. An der ersten Gabelung, am Teich mit der Trauerweide geht es rechts über den schmalen Weg zu den nahe gelegenen Häusern um entgegen dem Uhrzeigersinn in den Rundkurs einzusteigen. Diese Richtung ist wichtig, da die entgegengesetzte Richtung deutlich schwierigere Anstiege hat. Von den Häusern aus geht es entlang dem Bach unter die Autobahn, an der Wassermühle vorbei und dann ein kurzes Stück durch Wohngebiet. Jetzt wieder unter die A44 und dann parallel zur Autobahn bis zum Aaperwald. Nun geht es über sehr schöne Waldwege mit moderaten Anstiegen durch den Aaper- und Grafenberger Wald. Auf der Strecke gibt es 4 nennenswerte Wegpunkte: Die schöne Aussicht im Grafenberger-Wald, die Frauensteine, der Bikepark "Sieben Hügel" im Aaper-Wald und die gute Einkehrmöglichkeit auf dem Bauernhof Grütersaap. Eine weitere gute Einkehrmöglichkeit befindet sich 200 m vor dem Ende der Tour auf der rechten Seite "Bauerngarten Gut Roland" hier gibt es guten Kaffee und Kuchen. From the car park under the A44 heads south direction with the aim Aaper forest.
