Der Start ist in Flachau am Hotel Tauernhof und führt zunächst zum Badesee nach Reitdorf. An der Kreuzung Aignstadl nach links auf den Aigenbergweg abbiegen (MTB-Route 23). Zunächst stetige Steigung auf Asphalt welche dann weiter auf einem Schotterweg wechselt. Bei KM 20 wechselt man auf die MTB Route 22 zum Hochgründeck. Zurück nicht den MTB Schotterweg, sondern den Wanderweg bergab. Achtung! Dieser ist sehr steil und besteht im unteren Teil aus losem Geröll (bis zu handballgroße Steine). Fahrtechnik ist hier unbedingt erforderlich! Im Tal wieder angekommen in Richtung Wagrain und wieder zurück nach Flachau.

The start is in Flachau at the Hotel Tauernhof and initially leads to the lake by Riding village. At the intersection Aignstadl left on the Aigenbergweg turn (MTB Route 23). First, steady incline which then changes to a dirt road on asphalt. At KM 20, switching to the MTB Route 22 to Hochgründeck. Not get back the MTB dirt road, but the trail downhill. Watch out! This is very steep and is in the lower part of loose boulders (up to hand-ball sized stones). Driving technique is essential here! In the valley arrived back in the direction Wagrain and back to Flachau.
