Los geht die Tour in Igensdorf am Brunnen mit den beiden goldenen Kirschen. Über den Planetenweg führt sie dann zuerst nach Unterrüsselbach. Ab hier geht es auf geschotterten Forststraßen immer weiter bis Freiröttenbach. Von hier aus geht es dann der Weg durch den Wald etwa 100 Höhenmeter nach oben, bis man in Illhof bzw. am Lillinger Flugplatz ankommt. Von hier hat man eine wunderbare Aussicht über große Teile der fränkischen und der hersbrucker Schweiz, sowie über die umliegenden Städte. Über Feldwege führt die Tour vorbei an Äckern und durch Wälder hinunter zur Lillachquelle. Bei Bedarf kann man hier in aller Ruhe seine Trinkflasche(n) nachfüllen. Von hier aus führt ein kleiner steiniger Trail (ca. 500m) weiter auf eine gepflasterte Straße. diese fährt man bis zur nächsten Linksabbiegung hinunter. Den geschotterten Weg folgt man nun soweit, bis man über Mitteldorf ist. Ab hier kann man eine Wiese oder eine Straße ins Dorf nehmen. Im Anschluss fährt man die Straße bis zum Ausgangspunkt zurück.
