Partenza da Kozina (parcheggio trattoria Mahnic). Si prende a salire la pista forestale che porta sul m.te Slavnik (meta). Il fondo della strada sterrata è ben battuto con pendenze mediamente impegnative. L'ultimo chilometro risulta più difficile in quanto la pendenza si accentua e il fondo è leggermente sconnesso. Arrivati al rifugio si gode un panorama meraviglioso. In discesa si seguono le indicazioni per Podgorje (cartello rosso). Dopo un tratto erboso si imbocca l'unico sentiero (evidente) che punta dritto nel bosco. Il single track risulta impegnativo (diff. single trail S2/S3) per tratti ripidi e per il fondo sassoso con diverse pietraie fisse e mobili. Dalla traccia principale si diramano delle varianti molto divertenti (meno accidentate e quindi più scorrevoli).
Arrivati al paese si segue la linea ferroviaria fino a Presnica dove si risale per raggiugere la strada bianca percorsa in salita. All'incrocio si scende verso Kozina. Obbligatoria la sosta alla trattoria Mahnic...:)

Departure from Kozina (parking trattoria Mahnic). It takes up the forest track that leads to the Mt Slavník (meta). The bottom of the dirt road is well beaten with a slope of average challenging. The last mile is more difficult because the slope is steeper and the bottom is slightly disjointed. Arrived at the hut there is a marvelous panorama. Downhill and follow the signs for Podgorje (red sign). After a stretch of grass, take the only path (obvious) pointing straight into the woods. The single track is challenging (diff. Single trail S2 / S3) for steep and stony bottom for rocks with different fixed and mobile. From the main track spread of variants a lot of fun (and less bumpy then smoother).
Entering the village follow the railway line up to where it goes Presnica to obtain the required gravel road traveled uphill. At the intersection you go down Kozina. Obligatory stop at the tavern Mahnic ... :) Have fun
