Ottima alternativa alla strada asfaltata che da Armeno (o da Stresa) sale al Mottarone.
Una volta raggiunto il paesino di Coiromonte, senza entrare in paese (circonvallazione), si diramano diversi percorsi sterrati. Tra questi uno, segnalato come Coiromonte- Tre Montagnette, si congiunge quasi in cima alla strada asfaltata per il Mottarone. Ottimo il paesaggio a 360°, con vista sul monte dei Falò, Mottarone e Monte Rosa!!
Una volta in cima al Mottarone la vista si amplia anche sul lago maggiore e alpi da una parte, e sul lago d'Orta dall'altra (sempre visibile anche i Monte Rosa).
Per quanto riguarda la discesa sconsiglio vivamente a tutti il "sentiero" che ho percorso, a meno che siate amanti delle situazioni estreme. Con una mtb front è quasi per la totalità non pedalabile, ma non lo definirei comunque un sentiero da mtb (come segnalato invece sulla cartina). Sbucato a Omegna (dopo aver trovato anche due porcini) mi sono limitato a completare il giro del lago d'Orta su strada, anche se sarebbe stato più opportuno seguire i sentieri al di sopra e al di sotto della strada principale, facenti parte dell'Anello Azzurro (attorno a tutto il lago).

Great alternative to the paved road that Armenian (or from Stresa) rises to Mottarone.
Once you reach the village of Coiromonte without entering the country (ring), branching several unpaved roads. Among these one, reported as Coiromonte- Three hillock, joins almost on top of the paved road to the Mottarone. Great landscape at 360 °, with a view of Mount Bonfire, Monte Rosa and Mottarone !!
Once at the top the view is expanded to Mottarone also increased over the lake and the Alps on the one hand, and on Lake Orta by 'other (always visible even the Monte Rosa).
Regarding the descent not recommend it highly to all the "path" that I have covered, unless you are fond of extreme situations. With a mtb front is almost the totality not pedaling, but I would not call anyway a trail mtb (as indicated on the map instead). Blast in Omegna (after finding two porcini) I limited myself to complete the tour of Lake Orta on the road, even though it would have been more appropriate to follow the paths above and below the main road, part of ' Blue ring (around the lake).
